Much has been written about the influence of social media.  And while many people are not involved in social media (including many of my friends), for those who are on social media, what you say or do on social media can have a significant effect on your job search.  Rawhide Boys Ranch, a nonprofit helping at-risk youth in Wisconsin, developed this infographic to show how social media can make or break a job search:
