What does today’s job seeker look like?  Jobvite has conducted a survey which reveals some interesting trends among job seekers in 2014.  In particular, 71% of workers are on the job market and willing to wander which means that there could be significant turnover in 2014.

As a job seeker, it helps to know that 62% of recruiters say that referrals are the best source of high-quality candidates and 83% of job seekers found their position through Facebook.  So focus on networking and being referred to others on LinkedIn — which is the favorite social media platform for 93% of recruiters — but also stay involved on Facebook.
